若需要針對未知的多種氣體做初步鑑定,也可以選擇採樣袋取樣,帶到實驗室做後端的GCMS或GC分析;或採用直讀式且有超過百種不同Sensor選項的手持氣體直讀儀;又若遇到需要針對整廠區的氣體洩漏或排放氣體進行監測,可選擇遙測紅外光譜儀與自動化FTIR高性能氣體分析儀。
氣體檢知管適用領域包含:石油化、畜牧養殖、貨櫃蒸燻、消防、災害、緊急應變、室內空氣品質、作業環境檢測、呼吸氣體檢測、空氣汙染檢測、ISO8573、EN12021,亦有針對食品級、飲料級二氧化碳 (ISBT-grade CO2) 之不純物分析套組。環保署於2023年修正發布「半導體製造業空氣污染管制及排放標準」,對於排放管道VOC與酸氣 (硝酸、鹽酸、氫氟酸及硫酸) 皆有新濃度規範,氣體檢知管亦可用於這些汙染物的快速檢測。
