進行溶離試驗時，溶離液可能會產生巨大的蒸發損失。良好的溶離杯蓋應在有效的降低溶離蒸發率的前提下，同時提供適當的孔洞以放置取樣針及其固定器(Stoper)。另可選擇特殊錐形低蒸發濾溶離杯蓋進一步有效的降低溶離試驗期間杯內液體的蒸發率。
